Planoly Launched sellit - A New Way to Shop on Instagram
Instagram recently launched Instagram Shopping, which allows users to tag products on their feed posts. This allows users to click your products directly from the post, see the price and description, and then be taken to a link to then purchase this specific product.
Since Instagram Shopping is limited to product-based businesses and can be difficult to get approved with its many requirements, we wanted to make you aware of a second shopping option you could consider for your business, Planoly sellit.
This option is a great alternative if you can't use the Instagram Shopping feature, but still want to sell your products or services through Instagram. (Note that service-based businesses can use this platform, unlike Instagram Shopping.) Sellit helps create a completely customizable digital storefront through a link that you can place in your Instagram Bio. (You can also place the link on your LinkTree, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). Instead of clicking on the tagged product like IG Shopping, you would send your customer to the link in your bio to purchase your product.
You can customize your link to be a shoppable version of your live Instagram grid, certain Instagram photos, or a curated group of services and products that you pick.

Outside of using your shop on social media platforms, the sellit shop can also be placed onto your website to sell products as well.
Planoly sellit offers these shoppable features and also gives you analytics based on your shopping data. These analytics include the number of clicks on posts/products, the average click-through rate, impressions, total sales, your most engaging posts, and your click history.
To set up payment through your online store, you will go through a 3rd party application called Stripe, and there are transactional fees, which include: 2.9% + 30ยข and 2% additional fee. Once a user purchases a product, you will get an email confirmation sent to you, and it will pop up on your sellit dashboard.
Please do note that sellit does cost $29 a month ($19 first three months).
