Party Under The Palms!
Our official launch party was a blast and today we're excited to share all the lovely photos (via Aneris Photography) and fun with you! This post is a REALLY long one, but I promise scrolling through all the photos and reading all the fun details will be worth it. I think you'll soon see why it was so hard to cut anything out, enjoy!
While Pinckney Palm really launched at the beginning of this year, we couldn't get too far along before we officially celebrated with clients, influencers, community members, peers, friends and family.
We chose the Lowndes Grove River House as the quintessential Lowcountry backdrop for our Charleston-based company. Now, how cool is this... after booking Lowndes Grove, we found out that our very own namesake Eliza Lucas Pinckney purchased the property in 1804 along with her husband and christened this summer home Lowndes Grove as we know it today. How cool is that?!
It was the perfect location, even in the hot, hot Charleston summer heat. Luckily we served River House Rum Punch, passed rosé, lemonade and a variety of beers to quench everyone's thirst. Patrick Properties and their team does not disappoint y'all! And can we talk about how cute my signage is from The Town Serif?! Love these wood signs.
While the drink and food (like ceviche and rosé cupcakes) were quite popular, our Instagram wall stole the show. We're so glad everyone enjoyed this installation built by my husband :) and flowers provided by Frampton's Flowers. The hashtag balloon that the gals from Cannonborrough Collective brought us was a huge hit too!
It was so rewarding to look around and see everyone networking both inside and outside, having a blast! As you can see, we made sure to provide those seeking air conditioning inside something pretty via our pink and palm Instagram wall.
The music by Steven Jenkins set the perfect mood for the evening. I did jump up to say a big thank you to everyone who attended + share a little story on why I started this business. Luckily, I made it through y'all (I was pretty nervous for this bit)!
The fun, food and libations continued throughout the evening and at the end we managed to sneak away with the crew that remained for some pictures on the dock. How could we not, look at this gorgeous view?! I'd be remiss not to give another big shout out to Sirena of Aneris Photography! She provided these photos to me and did SUCH a fabulous job, I couldn't be happier. Make sure to contact her for any photography needs you have here in Charleston.
Now, here's the ultimate recap, check out our party video!
That's a wrap! Search the hashtag #LifeUnderThePalm on Instagram to see more photos and fun and don't forget to use that hashtag in your photos that exude life under the palm to be featured.
Stay tuned to get a peek inside the swag bags we gave away at the end of the night too (spoiler: you'll be able to win one if you weren't able to attend the party!). Oh and we may just have to continue this tradition every year ;)...
Cheers,
Erin
