Meet Madilynne :: Summer Intern
The Pinckney Palm team is excited to welcome Madilynne as our intern for the summer! Madilynne is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech and will be working remotely with the Pinckney Palm team from her home state.
Below is a fun interview we recently did with Madilynne so you can learn a bit about her:
Welcome to the Pinckney Palm team! Give us a quick overview - hometown, college, family, hobbies, etc.
Hi!! I’m from a teeny, tiny town called LaCrosse, Virginia. I go to Virginia Tech (go Hokies!), where I graduated in May with my Bachelor’s in Public Relations. I’m excited to be staying at VT to pursue my Master’s in Communication starting this fall. I’m a 1w2 on the Enneagram, and I love traveling - I’m always making itineraries of dream destinations. In the fall, you can find me watching my VT Hokies play - I live for football and basketball game days! Fun fact: I’m an identical twin.

Why social media? What draws you to it?
I love that no matter what your interests are, you can find something to spark joy and inspiration through social media. Everyone can have their own little corner of the internet where they spread positivity and uplifting content, which I think is super important. Social media has the power to connect people, expand businesses, and effectively change the world. I’m excited to experience how much social media evolves in the future and I can’t wait to see how businesses and companies will use it to talk directly to their target audience and increase customer engagement.

Charleston, SC (or London, England when you can find palm trees there, haha!)
What are you most excited about when it comes to interning with Pinckney Palm this summer?
I’ve been following Pinckney Palm for about two years now, and I’ve always admired how the company is run - with experience, knowledge, and female empowerment in mind. I think being an agency that specializes in social media shows unique expertise that fills a huge gap in this field. I’m so excited to learn from Erin, Ryann, and Raegan this summer and continue expanding my skills within the social media industry!
What’s your thing? What do your friends know you for or know you love?
That’s easy - coffee mugs and the British Royal Family! I collect coffee mugs like it’s my job and if any of my friends want to know thoughts/opinions/news on the Royals, they usually text me, haha!
